In what many will see as an astonishing turnaround, Liverpool star Steven Gerrard has been found not guilty at Liverpool Crown court today.

The midfielder had been celebrating with friends and enjoying a beer or two when he got into an argument with a DJ over what music could be played. The DJ retired to a back room only to be pursued by Gerrard and shortly afterwards the player hit out at the man three times.

Despite admitting striking the first blow, the Liverpool football player successfully argued that he hit out first; in “self-defence” and the men and women of the jury seem to have believed him.

Let’s hope the men and women of the jury enjoy their season tickets.

Metro Breaking News – A ‘secret’ lovechild of Michael Jackson is to undergo DNA testing to prove that he is indeed the lost lovechild of the iconic pop star.

Norwegian Omer Bhatti is alleged to be the fourth child of the superstar born out of an alleged one night stand with one of his dancers in 1984, Jackson reportedly admitted that this was true in 2004 He bears an uncanny resemblance to Jacko’s youngest seven year-old son Blankett, and lived at the singer’s Neverland home for several years after the singer moved his family into the fantasy ranch in 1997 from Norway. Michael Jackson first met up with his alleged son during a meet up in 1996 at a hotel in Tunisia where he impressed his dad with his dance moves. He has since performed with Michael in public and worked as a tribute act across the globe.

Now, after living for several years at Jackson’s Ranch and raised with Jacko’s three known children, Bhatti is set to find out if the star was indeed his father.

Speculation that the 25-year-old is Jacko’s fourth child was raised after Jackson dancer Bhatti sat on the front row of the singer’s memorial in LA along with the other Jackson siblings. Bhatti is a would-be hip-hop star, who performs under the name of O-Bee. So the question remains? Is he really Jacko’s son or is this all just a publicity stunt to help his own career?
